Kroger
Connecting a national grocer to communities through murals that welcome and embrace customers.

Creative Placemaking and Concept development:
Prior to developing imagery I used a combination of community engagement through online surveys, as well as visits to the areas to experience key places and experiences first hand.
Initial Designs and Sketches
I used the computer to quickly create editable concepts so I can quickly adjust color and composition following client reviews.
I worked to scale and use standard color books so the concepts can easily be implemented.
I often use mock-ups so clients have a sense of how the concept will integrate into the space.

For the Liberty Township mural I painted a 1”:12” scale study using Sonnelier Abstract fluorescent acrylics for the client to approve color as well as final aesthetics of the hand-painting process.
Installation:
For the Liberty Township mural we created the mural on panels that would be installed in-store on three, recessed, French cleats. I created an installation guide for hand-off to the art installation team.
