Early Life

I was born in 1976 to
We moved to Madisonville, a suburb of Cincinnati in 1981 — and this neighborhood has been my home for most of my life

My mother Claudette was my first art teacher.

Even as a child, I was always a little obsessed with history and the city. I used to dream of toy train diaramas featuring the streetcar, subway and downtown Cincinnati buildings. I would make buildings with my lego sets and dream about being an architect.
